What kind of Queen I am? In France, and I think in some European countries too, there is a tradition called "La Gallete des Rois".
For Epiphany�s day there is a special almond cake with a tiny porcelain fairy hidden inside. You cut the cake in slices and the person who gets the fairy becomes the queen /king of the day.. you may have a wish and choose your king /queen!! Lovely, isn't?

In this case it was cooked by Nelly ( you've already seen her in this webpage) and certainly it was delicious!!!!

Saturday it was snowing big part of the day and this morning we had a beautiful weather with everything in white. I wanted to try it!
Hier il a neig� une grande partie de la journ�e, c'est pas souvent � Paris aussi ce matin avec le grand beau temps j'ai voulu y gouter...

By the way this is my 9:9 AM picture. I was in a small bakery in rue Losserand: they made a wonderfull "baguette" and it is worth the 10 minutes walk I need to go there.... A propos ma photo matinale, cette fois dans ma petite boulangerie rue Losserand avec une baguette tellement bonne qu'elle justifie les 10 minutes de marche (aller!) n�cessaire...
